Detailed Itinerary

Your journey begins with a comfortable pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu and a transfer to Kathmandu Airport. Upon arrival, our representative will assist you with the check-in process and guide you through the necessary formalities. Before departure, the pilot will provide a short safety briefing and explain the basic flight procedures. After completing the formalities, board the helicopter and get ready for an unforgettable journey to Everest Base Camp.

The helicopter takes off from Kathmandu and begins its journey towards the Everest region. As the flight continues, enjoy beautiful views of the Kathmandu Valley, green hills, mountain villages, rivers, and valleys along the way. Gradually, the landscape changes as you move towards the higher mountains, with the Himalayan peaks coming into view.

The helicopter makes a short stop at Lukla for refuelling before continuing towards the Everest region. This is a brief operational stop, after which the helicopter continues its journey towards Everest Base Camp.

The timing of the stop may vary depending on the helicopter, weather conditions, and operational requirements.

After refuelling at Lukla, continue the journey towards the Everest region. The helicopter flies across the beautiful mountain landscape, with views of traditional mountain villages, valleys, glaciers, and surrounding Himalayan peaks along the way. As you fly further into the region, you will pass over places such as Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Pheriche, and Gorakshep, with the surrounding mountains becoming more visible along the route. As you approach Everest Base Camp, enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and several other Himalayan peaks.

For guests on the standard package, the helicopter flies over Everest Base Camp, offering breathtaking views of the famous base camp, Khumbu Glacier, and the surrounding Himalayan landscape. This is a wonderful opportunity to see Mount Everest and the nearby peaks from above and capture memorable photographs.

Guests who choose the optional Kala Patthar landing will land at Kala Patthar for up to 15 minutes instead of the Everest Base Camp flyover. From Kala Patthar, you can enjoy close views of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan peaks before continuing towards Hotel Everest View. The landing is subject to weather and operational conditions, and the stay is limited due to the high altitude.

The helicopter lands at Hotel Everest View in Syangboche, giving you time to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain surroundings. You will have approximately 30–60 minutes to enjoy breakfast at the hotel, experience breathtaking views of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan peaks, and capture memorable photographs.

After spending some time at the hotel, return to the helicopter and prepare for the journey back to Kathmandu.

Board the helicopter for your return journey to Kathmandu Airport after a memorable morning in the Everest region. Relax during the journey and enjoy beautiful mountain views along the way as you make your way back.

After arriving at Kathmandu Airport, our representative will assist with your transfer back to the hotel. Sit back and relax as you return to your hotel, marking the end of your Everest Base Camp helicopter tour.
